Autumn Ridge Log Homes

Autumn Ridge Log Homes is the family business of Joe and Mary Ellen Galvin and their daughter Aislinn. Originally dealers in 2001 when they built their Appalachian Log Structures custom log home in the Poconos, they moved away from the business after a few years to focus on their young family and careers. Now with their three daughters grown and middle daughter Aislinn, holding a BS in Business Management and Marketing, the family returned to ALSI ready to pursue and share their love of log home living, capitalizing on Joe’s more than 30 years in the construction industry.

With a degree from Penn State University in Structural Engineering and Construction Management, Joe was strongly drawn to Appalachian Log Structures’ design details; borate pressure treated logs with through-bolt technology, when he and wife, Mary Ellen, decided to self-build the log home they had been dreaming about for years.

Having lived in their log home for more than 20 years now, the Galvins still marvel at the warmth and welcoming atmosphere they experience every day. Along with the family-oriented customer service that is inherent to Appalachian Log Structures in all their dealings, the Galvins look forward to helping their customers navigate the building process from dream, to plan, to build, to happily ever after.
